The order

In order
01PrepChop the washed palak and add little water if necessary, as I cook without water as I feel it's not needed.
02PrepWen it cools gring fine in the mixer.
03PrepIn a pan heat ghee, fry garlic and ginger to a brown colour, then add onions and fry to a brown colour (do not burn).
04PrepAdd chilly powder, haldi and garam masala.
05PrepAdd blanched tomatoes and fry till the ghee separates.
06PrepAdd chicken pieces and fry till the water dries up.
07HeatAdd one cup of water and salt and cook under pressure for 19 minutes.19m
08PrepSee that the gravy is not watery — when dry add the spinach purée and fry on high fire till ghee separates.
09PrepAdd thick cream and lime juice before serving.
